Strengthening Community Health and Medical Resources – Bridging the Urban-Rural Divide
Since launching the Nan Shan Life Charity Foundation Medical Care Program in 2013, Nan Shan Life has actively partnered with hospitals across Taiwan to proactively provide essential medical support to disadvantaged populations. Each year, we expand our hospital partnerships and geographic coverage to reach more communities and groups in need.
Nan Shan Care for Remote Indigenous Villages Program
Nan Shan Life has long been committed to supporting disadvantaged individuals through medical aid and community health care. In collaboration with 210 partner hospitals across Taiwan, the Company provides medical subsidies to vulnerable patients, ensuring access to quality healthcare. In 2024, the Nan Shan Care for Remote Indigenous Villages Program allocated approximately NT$5 million, with 220 volunteer participations, serving around 34,000 individuals. The initiative also supported 10 partner hospitals with mobile medical equipment, supplies, and transportation subsidies. Additionally, in collaboration with the Digital Humanitarian Association, Nan Shan Life introduced remote health promotion courses at 10 indigenous cultural health stations, enhancing health management capabilities for 230 participants.
Embracing a Super-Aged Society: Nan Shan Life Safeguards Taiwan’s Dementia-Friendly Future
Taiwan has formally entered the “super-aged society.” No one is outside the game in the face of this challenge. Since 2023, Nan Shan Life has launched comprehensive actions, from individuals to organizations, to respond to the needs of an aging population. In 2024, these efforts expanded across three key dimensions to amplify the impact of dementia-friendly initiatives:

Community Engagement & Vitality
Culture, the arts, and local development are the cornerstones of a civilized society, while a people-centered spirit remains at the core of Nan Shan Life’s values.
Community Engagement

Cultural Revitalization
Committed to corporate social responsibility, Nan Shan Life has long supported local arts and culture, striving to illuminate hearts with the power of art. To expand this influence, Nan Shan once again partnered with the internationally acclaimed Taiwanese contemporary dance company, B. DANCE, directing the raised funds to the 2024 “Nan Shan Dance Together” program.
Promotion of Sports
Since its launch in 2020, the Nan Shan Junior Athlete Program has been dedicated to supporting sports and health development among schoolchildren in rural areas, while also encouraging BAM app users to cultivate healthy lifestyles. What makes this program unique is its integration of personal wellness with social care—every step taken by participants contributes to positive change for underprivileged communities.
From 2020 to 2024, the program made 16 donations to 14 elementary schools, with a total contribution of NT$3.2 million.
